KEN KNUTSON
Ken Knutson is in his sixth season as the head baseball coach at the University of Washington, his alma mater. In his five seasons, he has led the Huskies to three first-place and two second place finishes in the Pacific-10 Conference's Northern Division and won the overall Pac-10 title in 1997. He has coached a long line of top-notch college players and has sent 16 players on to the pro ranks. In addition, he has led the Huskies to within one game of the College World Series twice, beaten three No. 1-ranked teams, landed a top-10 recruiting class, and coached 13 All-Americans and 27 All-Pac-10 first-team selections.
JOE ROSS
Joe Ross has been an assistant baseball coach at the University of Washington for six years, and was named associate head coach this year. He works primarily with the hitters and his players have rewritten the UW records books, breaking nearly every mark. Prior to coming to the UW, he was a JC coach and served as head coach of the United States Junior National Team, tutoring such players as Alex Rodriguez.
