FREQUENTLY ASKED CAMP QUESTIONS

1. Is enrollment for camp unlimited?
No, there are enrollment limits each week by age and by camp. We will not accept applications by phone, fax, or email out of fairness to those who use the mail. Registration is on a first-come first serve basis. You can find out about camp availability by calling our camp hotline - (206) 517-1553 - and listening to the message.

2. Does every player have to bring their own bat?
No, however most campers do bring their own simply because they are comfortable with their own. If you bring your own bat, please mark it as we are not responsible for lost or stolen equipment.

3. Are these camps for boys only or can girls attend also?
Our camps are open to boys and girls. Please contact us for more information.

4. How many coaches do you have in camp?
Including camp directors, instructors, medical staff, and support personnel, we will have a minimum of one staff person for every eight campers. Depending on the emphasis of specific camps, we may have a different ratio. Due to our commitment to providing a quality instructional experience, we limit the enrollment in our camps so please enroll today to reserve a spot.

5. What if a camper requires medical attention?
Our on-site athletic training staff must be notified of any special medical conditions at the time of check in on the first day of camp so they may monitor the athlete throughout the day. We want to be aware of any special needs that they might have in case of emergency.

6. Do you have any rules regarding behavior and what happens if rules are violated?
Yes, we have "common sense" rules that apply to everyone throughout camp. Any violation of these common sense rules will result in immediate dismissal from camp without refund. These rules are needed to provide a quality and safe environment for all athletes.

7. What do you do in case of rain?
We will have camp rain or shine everyday, as we are on a tight schedule and do not have the option of rain dates. We will not do anything to jeopardize the safety of our athletes and will alter our camp schedule in case of severe inclement weather. We will complete each day of camp as best we can and offer a quality experience.

8. How do I know if we have been admitted to the camp of our choice?
Within 72 hours of our receipt of your registration form, a confirmation of your admittance will be mailed or a personal telephone call for you to make another cam choice will occur. We will do everything we can to allow for your camp enrollment, but please register today to reserve your place in camp.

9. Can we as parents observe camp?
Parents can observe any portion of camp and are encouraged to ask questions. We take pride in the fact that all parents that have observed our camp in the past have always appreciated the quality of our instruction and the learning environment that we provide for all our athletes.

10. What do you serve for lunch?
We will always serve fruit, a beverage, various snack chips, and one main entree of pizza, hamburgers, sub sandwiches, or hot dogs on each day of camp where lunch is provided. We do not provide special lunch substitutes for athletes with special needs, athletes must make their own arrangements. We will also have a camp store for additional sport drinks, juices, fruits, and snack item purchases throughout each camp day.

11. How are the athletes supervised at lunch time?
All athletes and coaching staff members are required to remain at the camp site throughout the entire lunch period. Athletes may only leave the camp site with a parent by signing a checkout form with the appropriate coaching staff member.

12. How do I get more information?
